Digital Competition #3 – Capture Motion

Capturing motion in photography involves using techniques like fast shutter speeds, slower shutter speeds for motion blur, and camera movement to create dynamic and artistic images. 

Examples:

  • Freezing motion – (no blur of bird taking off or a splash of water)
  • Motion blur (slow shutter speed of a waterfall appearing smooth, blur of a bird’s wings or lights from cars at night)
  • Panning (racing horses or a runner in focus with streaked background)
  • Long exposure (crowd moving through a still environment)
  • Search Google for ideas!


Please review the “Digital Contest Submission Rules and Instructions” page before entering. 


As a reminder, there may be a slight delay before your photo goes through. When the upload is complete the screen will say “Submission Received” and display the photo you submittedPlease do not close the window or web page until you see this acknowledgment.
